Reflection (also known as: 'A sad Day')

In Multimedia we used 5 software, those software are:

Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Google Sketch-up.

My Experience With:

PowerPoint: I used PowerPoint before, so I didn't find it challenging.

Microsoft Publisher: Publisher to me seemed like a clone of Microsoft Word with a few adjustments.

Adobe Photoshop: At first Photoshop was challenging for me, but as I used it more work became easier and, easier. I hope I can use it again.

Adobe Illustrator: Illustrator seemed a lot like Photoshop, except it was used to create 3-D images which were fun to create.

Google Sketch-Up: To me this was the most fun, actually seeing 2-D images become 3-D right before my eyes was amazing.

To prepare for my next elective course, I will reminisce on the software used above.

Assignment - Brochure

This brochure was made in publisher, and saved as a .JPEG and Publisher

Assignment #26 Days 1-3

#26- This was done in adobe Photoshop, the tools used were gradient, marquee tools, rectangle, and polygonal lasso, this was saved as .JPEG and .SKP

Assignment #24 3D Effect in Photoshop

Using my lakeside bungalow from Assignment 23, I created this "3D" effect, the other tool that was used was the magic wand tool and Blending Options and then going into channels. This was saved as .JPEG and .SKP

Assignment #25 Day 3 Animated Button

This was done in Adobe Photoshop, and using Convert To Frame Animation. This was saved as .PSD and .GIF

What is a gif?

A lossless format for image files that supports both animated and static images (source: Google's Definition of GIF)

On Day 2 I used the text tool and blending options to create the glow on the "M", this was saved as .JPEG and .PSD

I used the ellipse tool for this return to Adobe Photoshop assignment. I used gradients, and Filters (noise, blur), this was saved as .JPEG and .PSD

Assignment #23 - Lakeside Bugalow

I used the same tools as the other blocks created in #22, I used the rectangle tool and paint bucket to create the grass and the fences. This was saved as .JPEG and .SKP

Assignment 21- Introduction to Google Sketch

In Google Sketch using the shapes: square, Circle, and arc and pencil tool to create the semi circle and triangle. This was saved as .JPEG .SKP

19 a - Last Name written in illustrator

I used rectangles, and rounded rectangles and Pathfinders Merge tool to create my last name in Illustrator, Saved in .Ai and .JPEG

Assignment 20 - Phone

This was saved as .Ai and as .JPEG .

about day 1- 

The shapes that I made were rounded rectangle, rectangle, and Ellipse. The shapes were given a gradient. To create a smaller copy you go to Object then path then offset path then input the desired negative number.

about day 2 - 

Divide, and Minus Front (tools) use with the different shapes to create the function buttons.

about day 3 -

The functions used to create the gradient ring were creating an Ellipse, copying it, applying a stroke, expand the object, color the first Ellipse black, the overlap all the Ellipses together. By going to Effect, then Distort & Transform, then Transform then inputting how many copies and horizontal or vertical movements to create the other number keys.

about day 4 - to give the illusion of a depressed speaker we created this Gradient Mesh to redefine the topography of the OVAL. then we use the shape to create a mic for this phone.

Assignment - 19b Minus Front and Divide in Pathfinder

I used the rectangle tool, Ellipse tool, rounded rectangle tool, and PathFinders Minus Front Tool.
This was done in Adobe Illustrator and was saved in .AI and.JPEG

In this assignment I used Adobe Illustrator to create a blue realistic pen drive. I used http://www.tutorialboard.net/create-realistic-pendriveas-adobe-illustrator/ to help me with this process. Gradient was used in this assignment. This assignment was saved as a .Ai and .JPEG . Day 1 I learned how to create shapes, in day 2 I learned how to create the actual pen with gradients, and in Day 3 using gradients I created the rectangle which says 'flash drive'.

Assignment 17 - Soft Skin Glow and Layer Mask (Ft. Matt Smith)

In this assignment I used a picture of Matt Smith (11th Doctor) and gave him a soft skin glow using Photoshop. The tools i used were: Brush tool, Move Tool, and Text. I used a layer mask and with the brush I "painted" over his eyes, lips, and clothes. I saved this in .JPEG and .PSD.

Assignment #15 - Motion Blur

In this assignment i learned how to make an image look like its in motion. I saved the before image as a smart object then added the effects: Motion Blur and Median. I saved it as a .JPEG and a .PSD . I used http://www.tutorialboard.net/understanding-and-using-smart-filters-in-photoshop-for-dynamic-adjustments/ to guide me through this assignment.

I did the same as Assignment 14a, instead of a brick flag i used my face and the Canadian flag. I erased the flag parts that didn't fit on my face. This assignment was saved as a .JPG and a .PSD

In this assignment I put the South Korean flag onto a brick flag. Both the flag and the brick were under hard light. I saved this as a .JPG and .PSD

Assignment 13- Change on thing poster

The background used is a gradient.
I created the "new" food using the steps from : http://www.tutorialboard.net/texture-layer-modes/ 
I blended the grapes into the french fry box using the website stated above.
